Chiller Presents Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids

Well it’s that time of year again. Zombies are walking the streets freely, vampires and Frankenstein’s monster can be seen on every lawn, and the Chiller cable channel has put out a new list for Halloween. Last year’s list (click here) counted down the decade’s top 13 scariest movie moments. This year the folks over at Chiller get a little more specific. This year the countdown is CHILLER 13: HORROR’S CREEPIEST KIDS.

We get the same format as last year’s list, but this year the guest commentator’s discuss the various movie kids that creep them out. Some of the commentators include Mary Lambert, Steve Niles, Michael Gingold (editor of Fangoria), Andrew van den Houten (horror producer), and Brian Collins (editor of We get to see clips of the movies as the commentators tell us why the films scared them so much and which parts are the best.

Yeah; these are some creepy fucking kids!!

I love shows that take a specific topic and rank films in a countdown-like format. This always sparks great debate because there’s no way you’re gonna get a consensus about the order of the list. This year’s list is no different. It’s a pretty solid list but I strongly disagreed with the arrangement of the films. I’m assuming that it’s not a randomly put together list but specifically counts down to the number one creepiest kid. I just don’t agree with the order they have the various films in. I won’t go into details, but The GOOD SON is closer to the #1 spot for having the creepiest kid in it than THE EXORCIST is!! Say whaaat??

Check this one out and tell me what you think of the list. CHILLER 13: HORROR’S CREEPIEST KIDS premiers on the Chiller channel on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 8pm ET/PT. It wouldn’t be Halloween without a Chiller channel countdown!!

Stay Bloody!!!
