Neil Marshall’s Next Project is Hellfire, for CBS Films

Marshall hellfire is reporting that Neil Marshall, the filmmaker behind DOG SOLDIERS, DOOMSDAY, and the brilliant THE DESCENT, is in early talks to direct HELLFIRE for CSB Films.  HELLFIRE is

CBS Films horror project about a costumed killer who systematically slaughters the unsuspecting visitors who come to a theme park on Halloween night. The plan is for this to be his next movie and start production by summer next year. The hope is to launch a horror franchise.

HELLFIRE is penned by William Penick and Chris Sey and is being produced by Gale Anne Hurd through her Valhalla Entertainment banner.  Marshall is currently working on the postproduction of BLACKWATER, an episode he directed of the HBO series, GAME OF THRONES.

I’ll watch anything Marshall puts out, but I certainly hope that he’s not through with the horror genre.  We could use a mind and filmmaker like Marshall!!

Stay Bloody!!!
