Here’s an interesting development. It seems that the German edit of Hitchcock’s masterpiece, PSYCHO, is a little longer, bloodier, and racier. Who’d've thunk it?? It’s surprising that an European edit of a film has more of the good parts in it!! (Hopefully you can hear my sarcasm dripping through every word).
An extended and unrated cut of the film has aired on German television that was home to a few scenes that were just too much for U.S. censors back in 1960. This longer cut has never been available on Blu-ray or DVD anywhere

I never knew that there was a Euro/German version of the movie; that’s like the Spanish version of DRACULA. It would be good to see this as an addition to a PSYCHO DVD.
That would make me buy yet another PSYCHO DVD!!
