Image Entertainment to Release Eduardo Sanchez’s Lovely Molly
There’s a name we haven’t heard from lately. Eduardo Sanchez is, of course, half of the team behind THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (Daniel Myrick being the other half). Back in 2006, Sanchez wrote and directed ALTERED, a very underrated alien film told from a different perspective. Unfortunately I saw ALTERED before I stared anythinghorror.com, so I don’t have a review written for it, but trust me; ALTERED kicks some major ass!! After seeing that one I thought for sure we were gonna see Sanchez’s career take off like a rocket. In 2008 he made SEVENTH MOON (meh) and now he’s coming out with his new flick, LOVELY MOLLY. Image Entertainment will be releasing LOVeLY MOLLY on May 18, 2012. Here’s the plot crunch:
When newlywed Molly Reynolds returns to her long-abandoned family home, frightful reminders of a nightmarish childhood begin seeping into her new life. She soon begins an inexorable descent into an evil that blurs the lines between psychosis and possession.
LOVELY MOLLY is written by Sanchez (who also directed) and Jamie Nash and stars Gretchen Lodge, Alexandra Holden, and Johnny Lewis. Here’s a teaser clip and a trailer:
Stay Bloody!!!
