Seth Grahame-Smith’s Unholy Night Hitting Book Shelves (& the Big Screen) Soon
Seth Grahame-Smith has made a nice little career for himself through taking classic books and historical figures and “tweaking” them a bit. He zombified Jane Austen’s classic book PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and even turned a beloved and noble president into an ass-kicking supernatural hunter (ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER). Currently Smith is at work screwing around with a very classic book and some classical characters. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Smith is currently working on the novel, UNHOLY NIGHT:
His latest is a reimagining of the Three Wise Kings, aka the Magi, as thieves who are reluctantly forced to protect Mary and baby Jesus, with an epic action-adventure ensuing.
Screwing with both The Bible & the Three Wise Men … I can already hear the humorless religious dweebs marching in protest!! The book will be hitting shelves on April 10, 2012 and it’s already in development at Warners Bros!! Smith, who wrote the script for this summer’s ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, not to mention the upcoming DARK SHADOWS remake, is working on the script for UNHOLY NIGHT. Check out the book trailer for UNHOLY NIGHT:
Looks pretty fun!!
Stay Bloody!!!
