Two New Prometheus Clips Go Behind-the-Scenes & Give us Some New Footage
Can ya feel it … can you feel the energy as the release date for PROMETHEUS gets closer and closer? Well it’s right around the corner and the marketing machine has released two new clips. If you don’t by now, PROMETHEUS is directed by Ridley Scott, written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof, and stars Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, and Michael Fassbender. Here’s the plot crunch:
A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
The first clip below goes behind the scenes with the cast and crew, with Scott talking about the concepts behind the story, with some new action footage sprinkled in throughout. They also talk about how they’re trying to use 3D to help drive the story, and not just as a gimmick to get an extra five bucks from you at the box office. My fingers are crossed.
In the second clip, we get to hang out with Logan Marshall Green’s character Charlie Holloway where he talks a bit about the character’s background. Good stuff, and it serves as a neat primer for what the film will tackle.
I’m getting more excited … what about you?
Stay Bloody!!!

I have the blu-ray 3D of this movie and the 3D is really not that special compared to other titles. It’s more like a man acting like a robot: you never get the full range of emotions… Except that a robot is technically high standard and this movie’s images aren’t as sharp in places as you would like them to be. But it’s good that the extra dimension is there of course. It’s not just a boring old “only 2D movie”…
