Adam Green & Director BJ McDonnell talk Hatchet 3, & First Still Released
Filming of HATCHET 3 is wrapping up soon down in Louisiana, and recently a few of the filmmakers, namely Adam Green, director BJ McDonnell, and producer Sarah Elbert–showed up on Fox TV to give us an early look. Louisiana’s FOX8 visited the set a few weeks ago and got the first behind-the-scenes footage from the film, which features a quick shot of a very bloody Danielle Harris in the police station. HATCHET 3, directed by McDonnell and written by Green, stars Danielle Harris, Kane Hodder, Derek Mears, Cody Blue Snider, Zach Galligan, Rileah Vanderbilt, Caroline Williams, Diane Goldner, Jason Trost, and Sean Whalen. Hatchet 3 opens on the ultraviolent final shot of Hatchet 2 and continues the tale of the now iconic slasher villain Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder). As a search and recovery team heads into the haunted swamp to pick up the pieces and carnage left behind from the first two films, Marybeth (Danielle Harris) hunts down the true secret to ending the voodoo curse that has left the ghost of Victor Crowley haunting and terrorizing Honey Island Swamp for decades.
