Teaser Trailer & Stills Drop for the Horror Short, The Earth Rejects Him

The Earth Rejects Him banner

Here’s a pretty cool sounding horror short, titled THE EARTH REJECTS HIM. Written and directed by Jared Skolnick, who’s best known for his adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s THE MUSIC OF ERICH ZANN, THE EARTH REJECTS HIM is just about completed and Skolnick has released some stills and a teaser trailer to get our juices going!! Check out the plot crunch:

[THE EARTH REJECTS HIM] is an original horror story written by Skolnick, about a haunting and surreal tale of a young boy who accidentally discovers a corpse while biking in the woods. In a moment of impulsiveness he steals a tooth from the body and buries it in the ground. His return to the burial site reveals a development he never would have expected.

The short film stars Ellis Gage, Colin Allen, and Jacob Moon and is:

a haunting and surreal tale, influenced by the films of Werner Herzog, Terrence Malick and Guillermo del Toro, as well as the short stories of HP Lovecraft. This project promises to be a unique and terrifying experience, an elegant horror film about modern man’s relationship with the unknowable powers found in nature.

I’m game!! THE EARTH REJECTS HIM will be hitting the festival circuit as soon as it’s completed. For now you can dig on the teaser trailer and stills from the production. Also be sure to check out THE EARTH REJECTS HIM on their Facebook page:
