New Old-School Frankenweenie One-Sheet Unveiled at Comic-Con
Man. that’s a lot of hyphenated words in one title!! But another one-sheet has been released for the upcoming Disney-Burton flick, FRANKENWEENIE; the story of the lengths one boy goes to reunite with his best friend. The new poster was unveiled at 2012′s Comic-Con and will remind you and make you nostalgic for the classic posters of yesteryear. FRANKENWEENIE is directed by Tim Burton and written by Burton and Leonard Ripps and stars the voice talents of Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, and Martin Landau. A heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
A stop-motion animated film, ‘Frankenweenie’ will be filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.
FRANKENWEENIE is set to hit theatres on October 5th, 2012.
