Lionsgate to Unleash Séance: The Summoning this October
Why the fuck does anyone mess around with a ouija board? I mean seriously!!?! I personally don’t mess with those things but it’s not because I’m worried about releasing a demon from Hell. Oh, no. I don’t mess around with ouija boards because I don’t want my life to become like a bad Z-grade horror movie!! Lionsgate, though, believes that they can still squeeze a little more blood from the ouija board stone and is releasing SEANCE: THE SUMMONING this October. SEANCE: THE SUMMONING is written and directed by Alex Wright and stars Bobby Campo, Nazneen Contractor, and Chris Olivero. Check out the plot crunch:
After a loudmouth college punk singer accuses an amateur medium of being a fake, four college students break into the city morgue and video themselves holding a seance. When the kids summon a demon by mistake, they have to find a way to drive the demon out of their friend before it destroys them all.
Sounds way more original than the 5,700 other ouija board flicks out there!! (You can’t see it, but I’m rolling my eyes … a lot). Lionsgate is releasing SEANCE: THE SUMMONING on DVD on October 2, 2012. Now check out the just-shy-of-4-minutes trailer that doesn’t leave much to the imagination … I feel as thought I just watched the entire film!!
