Trailer for the Faux-Film, Don’t Go Into the Water Drops
I can remember growing up and going the the movies with my parents and always being eager to see what the trailers would be that were shown before the feature. Even to this day I always look forward to seeing the trailers and being (hopefully) excited for what’s to come. Well writer-director Struan Sutherland apparently also loves trailers and made one for a movie that doesn’t exist. The faux-film is titled DON’T GO INTO THE WATER BECAUSE THERE’S SOME GUY IN THERE WITH A KNIFE AND HE MIGHT STAB YOU, or DON’T GO IN THE WATER for short. The trailer stars Lexi Afrasiyabi, Peter Rosefield, Doug Wintemute, Matthew Eisner, Daniel Eisner, Ben Hazlett, Seth Veenstra, Laura DiLabio, and Callum Sutherland. When twin sisters Lexi and Shelby are invited to stay at the secluded cottage where their brother is housesitting, they think that they are in for a week of partying on the beach with their friends. But below the surface lies an UNSPEAKABLE TERROR oh my gosh.
