The casting news just keeps rolling in. Stories from The Hollywood Reporter and TVline.com report that Clea Duvall and Franka Potente have just joined the already impressive cast for the second season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY:
[Clea Duvall] who starred on the short-lived HBO drama Carnivale, has booked a multiple-episode role on the rebooted second season of American Horror Story.
[Franka Potente] the Run Lola Run actress — who appeared opposite Matt Damon in the first two Bourne flicks — will play a mysterious patient of the facility in a two-episode arc.
Details on Duvall’s role, like many others for the new round of Horror Story, are being kept under wraps, but she’s expected to share scenes opposite returning cast member Sarah Paulson. Season two takes place in an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, the upcoming season revolves around Jessica Lange’s new character, a nun, and her boss at the institution, played by James Cromwell.
The second season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY has to be one of the most anticipated shows to return to the air!! I know I can’t wait!!
