Troma Picks up Julián Lara’s Killing Twice: A Deadhunter Chronicle for Distribution
One of Julián Lara’s earlier films, KILLING TWICE: A DEADHUNTER CHRONICLE has been picked up for distribution in the U.S, Germany, and Japan (more countries to be announced). You may recognize Lara’s name from one of his short films I reviewed not too long ago, TILL DEATH DO US PART (my review here). KILLING TWICE is directed by Lara, written by Lara, Jesús Gallardo, and Álvaro Plaza, and stars Lara, José Manuel Gómez, and Jesús Gallardo. Check out the plot crunch:
The Deadhunters must fight versus a monster possessed by the spirit of a biblical demon who is killing people in a High School. There’s no choice but to spend one night inside the building trying to hunt and kill this diabolical creature.
KILLING TWICE premiered at the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival in 2007 and it played in many film festivals between 2007 and 2008. It has already released in Spain and now thanks to Troma, the rest of the world gets to check it out!! I’ll let you know the exact release date.
Stay Bloody!!!
