Official Trailer & Release Date Drop for Munger Road
MUNGER ROAD is the upcoming film being distributed by Freestyle Digital Media. I know, I know … the world needs another supernatural/ghost haunting flick about as much as a Kardasian needs any more ass fat, but MUNGER ROAD has been getting some great buzz on the festival circuit and is based on an urban legend. The film is written and directed by Nicholas Smith and stars Bruce Davison, Randall Batinkoff, and Trevor Morgan. Check out the plot crunch below:
MUNGER ROAD takes place in a sleepy Midwestern town on a night when a group of teens explore the famed ‘Munger Road’ – a spot where a horrific tragedy occurred years earlier. Something terrible happens to the group, forcing the local police to acknowledge there is a returning killer lurking in the area as thousands of people converge on the town for the annual Scarecrow Festival.
MUNGER ROAD was released in theaters last year ion the Chicago area and made a surprising $30,000 per screen average!! The crew over at Freestyle are expecting pretty big things from this one come September 11, 2012 when it’ll be available on both DVD and VOD.
