Official Artwork & Release Dates Drop for IFC Midnight’s Crowsnest
Have you been sitting around saying to yourselves, “Know what I need in my life? More found footage flicks!!” Well your wishes are about to be answered!! The upcoming CROWSNEST joins the (too big) club of found footage flicks and has also released its official artwork. CROWSNEST is written by John Sheppard, directed by Brenton Spencer and stars Mittita Barber, Victor Zinck, Jr., Aslam Husain, Chelsey Reist, and Christie Burke. Check out the plot crunch below:
In late summer of 2011, five young friends celebrating a birthday went missing after an unexpected detour sent them crashing into an abandoned RV. Video recorded by the victims and recovered by police reveals a horrific encounter with the twisted residents of a secluded community, entirely removed from civilization and not pleased at having visitors. Director Brenton Spencer’s wildly entertaining horror film takes the best of the found-footage genre and combines it with the sick visions of American horror like Duel and Deliverance.
CROWSNEST is set to drop on IFC Midnight VOD + Digital Outlets (iTunes, Amazon Streaming, PS3, XBOX, SundanceNOW) on September 7, 2012, with select midnight theatrical engagements starting at the IFC Center in NYC.
