New Trailer for The Collection Drops!!
I’ve been waiting patiently for this one for a while now, but THE COLLECTION, the follow up to 2009′s THE COLLECTOR, has finally released the official trailer and is planning on a November 30, 2012 release date. Check out the plot crunch:
Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of “The Collector” during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his “Collection.” Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby trapped warehouse and save Elena.
THE COLLECTION is once again directed by Marcus Dunstan, written by Dunstan and long time writing partner Patrick Melton, and stars Christopher McDonald, Josh Stewart (returning from THE COLLECTOR), Emma Fitzpatrick, and Erin Way. Dunstan and Melton have written some really fun and great horror films so far: SAW 4-7, PIRANHA 3DD, the FEAST trilogy, THE COLLECTOR, and even wrote a supernatural horror novel (with Stephen Romano), titled BLACK LIGHT (my review here). I hope these guys stay in the horror field!! Now dig on the official trailer for THE COLLECTION:
