Teaser Trailer Drops for Treachery
Lately Michael Biehn just doesn’t have luck with cabins in the woods!! His last film, THE VICTIM (my review), had a reclusive Biehn being forced to “socialize” with some intruders, and now his upcoming film, TREACHERY, has him trapped in a cabin during a storm. Read on!!
TREACHERY is directed by Travis Romero, written by Romero and Lorraine Ziff, and starring the fantastic cast of Michael Biehn, Sarah Butler, Caitlin Keats, Matthew Ziff, Chris Meyer, Richard Gunn, and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn.
The film captures the controversy between Henry and his estranged son, Nathan. Reunited at a friend’s small wedding party in a remote cabin, Henry and Nathan have their usual awkward interactions. Nathan, accompanied by his girlfriend Cecilia, seeks his father’s approval. Cecilia’s presence only adds to Henry’s discomfort, forcing him to want to leave, but a storm hits, trapping them in the cabin and headed for the worst along with the rest of the group. None of them really realize what is truly in store.

Stay Bloody!!!

Man, age has not been kind to Michael Biehn. He was so hot in Aliens. :/ (I know you’re disappointed too :p )
He’s definitely older (and I believe he’s been through 1 or 2 heart surgeries), but he’s now got that really rugged, weather-good looks going for him. Yeah; I can say that about another guy … wanna fight about it!!! LOL
Nah! Except, where you see “rugged”, I see “ragged” and lament his Aliens days. He looked like a guy I used to date…a Sergeant!
So no sex speak left in him?
I’m a true Biehn-counter–I make it a point to see every movie he’s in, even though he has become somewhat long in the tooth this past decade (is that sexist? sorry?) I did cringe a little when I noticed that his wife was in this as well. :/ I know some directors/actors like to work with their spouses in films; sometimes it works (Devil’s Rejects) and sometimes it fails on an epic scale (Halloween II). This has to be better than The Victim…
You didn’t like THE VICTIM, Gynocrat? I thought it paid a nice tribute to the grindhouse films of years gone by.
You have Biehn and I have Bruce Willis. I’ve had a man-crush on him since MOONLIGHTING!! LOL
I wantred to like The Victim, I did! ^_^ I just couldn’t get into it. Perhaps I getting too cold in my old age. 0_o
THE VICTIM definitely had its flaws. But I appreciated what Biehn did with such a small budget.
