Get Ready for the New Indie Zombie Epic, Wyrmwood
If you’ve been thinking that the world needs more indie zombie films, well then you’re in luck. WYRMWORD is the name if the upcoming indie zombie epic that promises blood, guts, and lots of zombie mayhem. Written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, WYRMWOOD is being hailed as a a “no-holds-barred, retina-blistering Aussie post-apocalyptic zombie film.” I sure hope so … we’ve gotten a lot of stinkers lately in the zombie sub-genre. The film stars Jay Gallagher, Yure Covich, Catherine Terracinin, Luke McKenzie, Keith Agius, Jack Henry, Warwick Comber, Leon Burchill, Bianca Bradey, Cain Thompson, and Sam Haf. Check out the plot crunch:
Barry (Gallagher) is a talented mechanic and family man whose life is torn apart on the eve of a zombie apocalypse. On the road he teams up with Chalker, a fellow survivor, and together they must arm themselves and prepare to battle their way through hordes of flesh-eating monsters in a harsh Australian bushland.
What do you think? Does the world need another indie horror zombie flick?
Stay Bloody!!!

I’m always on board as long as it is a GOOD one!

I’m with ya, Band2Rights, but lately it seems the genre has gotten lazy & is simply using the same old formula.
