Trailer & Release Date Drop for Night of the Krampus

Krampus posterIf we’re gonna have Xmas shoved down our throats as early as September (yes; some stores in Austin were putting out Xmas stuff in late September), at least make it horror-themed Xmas stuff!!  Take for example NIGHT OF THE KRAMPUS.  This is a thirty minute short about Santa’s traveling companion.  The short is written and directed by Thomas Smith and stars Khristian Fulmer, Erin Lilley, Soren Odom, and Brendon Cooke.  Here’s the plot crunch:

According to legend, on Christmas Eve Santa Claus travels with a creature known as Krampus. While Santa rewards the good children, Krampus punishes the naughty. But that’s just a myth. …Or is it? When the naughty kids of a suburb begin to vanish in the weeks leading to Christmas, all evidence points to the creature’s existence. In this follow-up to “The Night Shift”, it’s up to supernatural investigators Rue Morgan, Claire Rennfield, and skeletal sidekick Herbie West to solve the mystery, save the children, and face-off against the deadly Krampus.

Now check out the trailer:

NIGHT OF THE KRAMPUS will be released on DVD and streaming online on December 3, 2013.  Have a horrifying Xmas season and kick it off with NIGHT OF THE KRAMPUS.  Check out the official website and Facebook page to keep up to date on everything KRAMPUS.

OMG growing up in Brighton Beach, we had Slovak neighbors, and they would scare their kids shitless with Krampus threats! I’m so glad I’m Jewish.

As for the holiday thing– tell me about it. I’m between Georgetown and Leander, and our HEB had pumpkins yesterday, and today, it’s all friggen snowmen!
