The third and final installment in filmmaker Andy Stewart’s body horror trilogy, INK, has completed shooting and is currently in post-production. But Stewart has been hard at work putting together a teaser trailer to do exactly that … tease fans. I’m guessing it won’t be long before “Andy Stewart” is a household name. The first two films in the trilogy, DYSMORPHIA and SPLIT, were nothing short of jaw-dropping body horror that would make David Cronenberg himself cringe. You can check out the entire short DYSMORPHIA here.
INK is written and directed by Stewart and has the largest cast so far in one of his films. INK stars Gordon Holliday, Sam Hayman, Austin Hayden, John Harley, Chris Goldie, Billy Hey, and Christopher Muir. Check out the plot crunch:
A man takes the path of least resistance (and cost) in an attempt to turn his body into a work of art.
It may be a short plot crunch but if you’re familiar with Stewart’s previous films you’ll already by clenching up. I also love the tagline: “Good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good.” Enough talking about it … here’s the teaser trailer for INK:
I’ll keep you updated as post-production progresses.
