New Horror Films Coming to Shudder in December

There are a ton of articles out there highlighting the up and coming horror films being released on Netflix and Hulu. But for the true horror fan, they are looking forward to what is upcoming on Shudder. Shudder is a horror-focused streaming service that provides some of the best indie and mainstream horror offerings out there. Here’s the list of all the upcoming horror films being released on Shudder this month:

31 (2016) A Shudder Exclusive

From Rob Zombie comes his latest horror film about five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. Their only possible way of escape is to play a twisted game called 31. Filled with clowns, homicidal maniacs, and gore, this one is sure to leave you screaming. Sure, this all feels like a remake of The Running Man, but there’s a lot of fun here as well. Check out Deggsy’s review.

THE BLOB (1958)

A classic in every way. This is the defining indie horror film!! This cult classic depicts what happens when a corrosive alien amoeba plants itself in a small Pennsylvania town. It’s gloppy, terrifying madness.

BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974)

Just in time for Christmas!! Shudder is giving us the gift of classic scares when a group of sorority women find themselves being stalked and terrorized by an unknown killer … who may or may not be in the house. Ho ho ho!!

CRYSTAL LAKE MEMORIES: THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF FRIDAY THE 13th (2013)

This is the best and most complete history of the FRIDAY THE 13th franchise … and I do mean complete!!  CRYSTAL LAKE MEMORIES chronicles the entire history of the FRIDAY THE 13th franchise, from Jason’s first surprise appearance from Crystal Lake to his travels to space. You can watch all the films first on Hulu and then jump into this perfectly nerdy horror doc.
