Breaking Glass will be releasing the supernatural horror film, The Basement, this Fall. The Basement is directed by Vozo Zoltán Végh and László Illés, and is written by Gera Laszlo Krisztian (from a story by Illés. The film stars Caroline Boulton, Richard Rifkin, Marina Gera, Zoltán Füle, Takács Zalán, Shawn Michael Clankie, and Tom Nguyen. Check out the press release below:

Philadelphia, PA, June 14, 2017–Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North American rights to the Hungarian occultist horror feature THE BASEMENT. Breaking Glass acquired North American rights to the film in June in a deal negotiated between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff and Galen Christy of High Octane Pictures. The film will be released on DVD/VOD on September 5, 2017.

Officially, the basement has been abandoned for decades. However, they soon discover that it is anything but empty. What starts off as an exploratory séance ends in bloody mayhem when a malicious entity is summoned. Supernatural freaks, mystery, blood, and death lurk around every turn. As the survivors try to escape at all costs, their situation becomes more and more dire.
